US figures on this site come from IRS filing data published through ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer.

• ProPublica provides an API to the search engine and database that powers Nonprofit Explorer.²
• Each filing row on a charity page links to the filing document for that tax period.²
• Form 990 itself is the return many US tax-exempt organisations file with the IRS each year.¹
